Universal Basic: Python Coding & WEB development

For kids 10-16 y.o.

Universal Basic is great for those who want to start learning code. The course consists of two independent modules: learning the basics of HTML and CSS and Python coding.

Kids will create their first web pages and a unique website of their own, adding tables, hyperlinks, illustrations, text, menus, videos, etc.

Based on the knowledge gained, your kid will present several projects at the end of each module. A comfortable atmosphere, masterful teachers, and modern technology are the best environment for the younger generation. Our teaching methodology will interest kids and become a solid foundation for adulthood!

What the course teaches

Using HTML (text, pictures, tables, etc.) and CSS, the child will style their site and learn to put information on the page.

Get to know the simple Python (or Python) programming language.

Learn the basics of creating linear, conditional, and cyclic programs.

Learn what numeric data types are used for. Understand the purpose of lists, dictionaries, and strings.

Kids will learn

Designing simple websites.

Developing web page prototypes using HTML and CSS.

Creating algorithms with different types of data.

Writing your programs. Developing simple games in Python.

Kids will be able to create

Practical coding skills.

The web pages and a full-fledged HTML and CSS-based website are created with your hands.

Independently created projects in Python, simple Websites with animation elements.

The school itself is excellent. My daughter has been attending for two years now. She especially liked the course on a design by Irina Polyakova. The work was exciting. There are an exciting set of courses not seen in other schools. The child is taking the C#/Unity course and is very satisfied with the teacher Masha, who has found an approach to children. Three hours of the lesson go by very quickly, and the child would be happy to study one more day a week. Recommended to everybody!!!

At what age can you start learning code?

Modern educational technologies and platforms help kids learn coding from 3-4 – earlier than most children learn to read. Kids learn to find information faster and solve problems more efficiently, actively developing logical and algorithmic thinking.

What will a kid know and be able to do after graduation?

Learning coding, design, or game creation goes from simple to complex. The whole theory is immediately applied in practice, and students create projects of different complexity levels—the final project development and presentation offer the ability to independently use the acquired knowledge in practice.

What to do if a child misses a lesson

All the material studied is on the learning platform and is available. The student independently gets acquainted with the material of the missed lesson and receives advice from the teacher.

You can choose a different course in the same direction or another. Basic knowledge in various IT areas will help kids decide on their choice of profession in the future.
